Richard L. Duffield

RICHARD L. DUFFIELD age 28, tragically passed away Tuesday January 8, 2019 at Summa Akron City Hospital at 7:48 p.m. surrounded by loved ones. Richard was born November 1, 1990 at Marymount Hospital to Marybeth (Crawford) and Rick Duffield. Ricky grew up in Northfield where he had a lot of friends and family. He was a student at Kent State University where he studied business in hopes to become a broker. He then moved to Streetsboro after a terrible life changing event. On December 22, 2016 Ricky suffered a massive stroke to the left side of his brain leaving him speechless and partially paralyzed on his right side. He was so strong the years that followed. He worked so hard and achieved so many goals. Ricky had such a kind and loving heart and was loved by so many. He was a Friend, a Nephew, a Grandson to Helen and Richard Duffield, Patricia and Harry Crawford, a loving Son to Marybeth and Rick, an amazing Brother to Deonnah (Jay), Rachel (Jimmy), Koreen (Jonny), and Beth (Keith). He was the best Uncle to Abriannah, Ava, James, Brooke, Gianluca, Izabella, Emma, Mya, Ariannah, and Mason. Ricky will be remembered as a bright light that made everyone smile. He will live on in our hearts forever and will be missed every single day. We love you Richard may you rest in peace. Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 W. AURORA RD.
