PEYTON ANN DUMONT “MISS PEYTON” PEY PEY; 5, We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Peyton Dumont on March 16th, 2024, surrounded by family and loved ones. Peyton fought bravely against complications from a brain tumor for nearly 2 years. We will forever be proud of her courage, strength and determination. Cherished daughter of Allyson and Michael Dumont; Loving sister of Madison; Dearest granddaughter of Kathy Holecek (James), and Jo Ann Dumont (James); Dear great-granddaughter of Maryann Janis (George); Loving niece of Sarah Holecek, and Mandi Dumont; Goddaughter of Sara Holecek, and Mitch Rippee; Dear cousin of many; Peyton was an inquisitive, smart child who loved learning and dinosaurs. Peyton was such a special little girl, as people seemed to gravitate to her. Everywhere we went people would always want to stop and say hi. This became more apparent when she became sick, as we noticed how well loved she was at Akron Children’s and Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. There is no doubt in our mind that Peyton would have grown up to do amazing things in this world. However, God knew that she was a blessing and was meant to impact people here on earth for just a short period of time. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Peyton’s name to Collin’s Beautiful Today at https://www.collinsbeautifultoday.com/about-5. Family and friends are asked to gather Saturday at St. Rita Catholic Church 32820 Baldwin Ave. Solon, OH for a Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Peyton’s life at 2:30PM. VISITATION SATURDAY AT CHURCH 12:30PM UNTIL TIME OF SERVICES AT 2:30PM. Interment All Saints Cemetery for family.
