Anthony J. Slezak

ANTHONY JOHN SLEZAK age 91, Born October 26, 1927 and entered into eternal rest June 27, 2019. Beloved husband of Rosemary (nee Kascsak), Loving father of Anthony, and  Michael (Teresa); Dearest grandfather of Michael (Celia), Julia, Matthew, and Jennifer (Christian); Dear great-grandfather of Taylor, Emerson, Skylar, and Maryjane ; son of the late Joseph and Sabina; Dear brother of the late Joe and Gabriel; dearest brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. Anthony proudly served in the United States Army during WWII. He retired after 33 years at the Cleveland Police Department as the Commander of the Fifth District and later took the position of Security Coordinator where he worked for ten years at the Perry Nuclear Power Plant. Anthony was a devout Catholic, and his faith never waivered. He loved to golf and fish with flies that he tied himself. He was a   loving  husband, father , grandfather and great-grandfather. Family suggests memorial contributions in his name to Hospice of the Western Reserve 17876 St. Clair Ave. Cleveland, OH 44110. Friends may call at the FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME 356 W. AURORA RD. (ST RT 82) SAGAMORE HILLS FOR VISITATION TUESDAY 3:00-8:00PM. Funeral Wednesday 9:30 AM at the Funeral Home. Mass of  Christian Burial to celebrate Anthony’s life 10:00AM at St. Barnabas Catholic Church.
