VICTOR JOSEPH VELLA age 74, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2021, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Beloved son of the late William and Antoinette (nee Vinciguerra). Cherished brother of Kathleen Brennan. Dearest uncle of Melissa Lazar (Anthony) and predeceased by his beloved nephew Christopher. Loving great uncle of Mia and Sophia Lazar. Long time love of Catherine DeSimone (deceased). Vic was a Special Ed. teacher for Aurora City Schools for 30 years. He was an accomplished drummer and loved his many drum students throughout the years. A proud "65" graduate of Benedictine High School, where he held many offices, and was a finalist for "Mr. Benedictine". Victor was a great nephew and friend to many. We will miss his laugh and great sense of humor. Family and friends are invited to gather at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 9080 Shepard Rd. Macedonia, Ohio 44056 where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday September 29, 2021 at 11 a.m. VISITATION AT CHURCH WEDNESDAY 10 A.M. UNTIL TIME OF MASS.
