THOMAS JAMES SCHULTZ, age 78, of Aurora, passed away Friday, September 12, 2025. Beloved husband for over 50 years to Frances H. (nee Kappes); loving dad to Carl T. (Barb), Rich E., and Marianne F. Dean (Andrew); cherished grandpa to Brian, Lorelai, Joey, Lauren, Jackson, and Ella; dearest son to the late Willard Schultz and Constance Byars (nee James); dear brother to Carol Stebbins (John), and Barb Ringle (the late George); caring uncle and friend of many. Tom was an avid golfer who loved music. He enjoyed watching the Cleveland Guardians and sharing his love of sports with his family and friends. After earning a Master’s Degree in urban planning and development from The Ohio State University, he spent many years working with the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission until his retirement. Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 WEST AURORA ROAD (OH RT 82), SAGAMORE HILLS FOR MEMORIAL VISITATION ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2025, FROM 10:00-11:00 AM. A Memorial Service celebrating Tom’s life will follow at 11:00 a.m. To allow who loved Tom to grieve together, a livestream of his memorial service will be available at https://webcast.funeralvue.com/events/viewer/116141.
