Terry Lew was born to Euphrasine and Leonard Lew on June 30th, 1956. He passed away from a sudden heart attack on November 18, 2021 at the age of 65.

He grew up in Maple Heights with his six siblings. Growing up he took an interest in cars and the outdoors. Terry graduated from Maple Heights High School and upon graduation he started working full time in the parts department at an auto dealership and ended his career at Valley Ford Trucking as the Parts Manager.

He had his first son, Brian in 1986 and daughter Kelly a few years later in 1988. He married Cheryl on June 10, 1995, and they had three daughters together, Shannon in 1996, Nicole in 1998, and Michelle in 2001.

Terry loved everything with a motor, but his favorite was his Harley Davidson Road King Classic. He instilled his love for and knowledge of auto mechanics in his children by working with them to repair their own vehicles.

He enjoyed spending time with Cheryl whether it was blowing $20 at Northfield Park, Sunday morning breakfast at Cracker Barrel, or just sitting in the hot tub. His backyard was his playground, a place to bond with his children and teach them lessons about life. One of those lessons was to be a good neighbor, and he showed through using one of the ATVs he kept in his barn to plow the neighborhood whenever there was a big snow.

We will all remember his infectious smile, his willingness to help anyone in need, and his love for his family. Whether you knew him as husband, Dad, brother, neighbor, or friend he impacted everyone’s life in a positive way and will be dearly missed.
