Susan Ellen McCune

Susan Ellen McCune, 73 of Maple Heights, passed away on October 26, 2025. Susan was born on February 9, 1952, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Ronald and Josephine (nee Billiey) Bregitzer. Loving wife of Donald McCune, caring mother of Kelly Oakes (Alan) and Don McCune Jr. (Julie), adoring grandmother of Ella McCune, Michael Gray, Colton, Nicholas, Emily, and Sara Oakes, cherished sister of Gerald Bregitzer and the late Ronald Bregitzer, and sister-in-law of Janine Bregitzer. Susan retired after almost 30 years as a librarian with Maple Heights Board of Education. She was PTA president for many years and enjoyed bowling. Friends and family are asked to gather at All Saints Cemetery, 480 West Highland Road, Northfield on October 29 at 1 PM for a graveside service to celebrate Susan’s life.
