Sophie Deseran

SOPHIE DESERAN, age 97, passed away on April 18, 2022. Beloved mother of Sophia Deseran; dear daughter of the late Maximilian and Maria Magdalena Wallner; loving sister of nine. Born in Plattling, Germany.  Sophie is survived and loved by many lifelong friends. She loved nature and remained active by taking daily walks most of her life (and eventually drives through the Cleveland Metroparks) and swam laps into her 80's.  She loved to dance, opera and music.  She was an excellent cook and baker and enjoyed good German beer.  All are asked to gather at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 8700 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, OH on Thursday, April 28 at 10:00 a.m. to celebrate Sophie’s Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Brecksville Highland Drive Cemetery.
