Ruth A. Certo

RUTH A. CERTO (nee Bovest), passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the age of 71. Loving wife of David; cherished mother of John (Alika) and Rachel Jacob (Robert); adored grandmother of Evan, Hannah, Laurel, Simon, Jetta, Julian, David, and Penelope. She is the sister of Esther Melendez (Richard) and sister-in-law of Carol Bovest. Preceded in death by her siblings Frank Bovest, Frances Foucar (Ted), Margaret Hasenstab (George), and also cousins June Hess (Johnny). Predeceased by her parents Michael and Martha Bovest. Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 W. AURORA RD (RTE. 82), SAGAMORE HILLS, FOR VISITATION ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 30, 2025, FROM 2-4 AND 6-8 PM. Funeral service 10:00 am on Friday, August 1, 2025 at the funeral home. Interment Northfield Macedonia Cemetery.
