Ruby Mariam Endo

RUBY MARIAM ENDO (nee Craig), age 83, of Andover, Ohio, entered into eternal rest into the care of her Heavenly Father, surrounded by the love of her family.

Ruby was the beloved wife of the late John Endo, who passed away in 2004. Together they built a life of love and devotion that continues on through their family. She was the loving mother of Faith Ann Shorf (Frank), Charlotte Felger (Brad), Theresa Novotny (Charles), Diane Cyncynatus (Ed), Carl Jr Stryczny, and Maryann Rubinski. She was the cherished grandmother of Christine (Adam), Nick (Kim), Jennifer, Samantha (Joey), Joshua, Shannon (Matt), Craig, Brittney, Matthew (Kat), Kaitlyn, Jeremy, and Kassandra; and the proud great-grandmother of Tyler, Bria, Cameron, Chloe, Christian, Mia, Niko, Nova, Gabriel, Cameron, Waylon, Gavin, Emerie, and Indie. Ruby is preceded in death by siblings Shirley Rice, E.J. Craig Jr., Robert Craig, Charles Craig and Ilo “Bunny” McCrory. Ruby is survived by her sisters Cevilla (Billie), Connie, Doris, Janet, and Linda, as well as her very dear best friend, Ellen Varner.

Ruby dedicated many years to the service industry, working as a waitress where she formed lasting friendships and touched many lives. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Andover, where her faith and servant’s heart shined brightly. In her free time, Ruby loved gambling, cruising, and especially sneaking off to play cards with friends whenever she could. Her humor, adventurous spirit, and love for her family will be remembered by all who knew her. Ruby’s life was one of devotion—to her faith, her family, and her friends. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
