ROSEMARY KANCLER (TOMASELLI), 78, of Sagamore Hills passed away on April 14th surrounded by the Holy Spirit and her loved ones. Rosemary was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Josephine Rozac and George Tomaselli on April 2nd, 1947. After “Roe Roe” graduated from Holy Name High School she was married to Kenny Kancler and worked in printing for City Blue Printing, Speedy Printing and later for many years with Harris Publishing in Twinsburg. Later in life she worked in purchasing for Chase Manhattan Bank in Tower City and then helped manage the lakefront home of David Morgenthaler, a prominent businessman and philanthropist. However, throughout life the things that truly brought her joy were her faith, her family and her friends. She was a devoted Catholic, first at St. Joan of Arc where she taught PSR for many years, and later as a parishioner at St. Barnabas where she attended daily mass and also could often be found praying her rosary and attending adoration. Her generous nature was shared continuously with all those she loved whether family or friends and she was always eager to prepare a pasta dinner with homemade cavatelli to feed a few dozen, even if there were far fewer coming. Most of all her generosity and unconditional love was shown to her five boys: Jeffrey and Nicholas Tomaselli (nephews) and Christopher, Matthew and Justin Blouir (honorary family) to whom she would always say “I Love You More! No backs!”. Throughout her life she enjoyed many artistic hobbies including ceramics, crafts, poetry and most of all taking pictures at every get together. Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband Kenny Kancler, her parents Josephine and George Tomaselli, and her brother George Tomaselli. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Cheryl Tomaselli; her nephews, Jeffrey and Nicholas Tomaselli; her honorary family of Chuck and Helen Blouir with their sons, Christopher, Justin and Matthew, and their wives and children.
