Richard "Rick" Martinko

Richard Martinko, (Rick) age 69,of Brecksville and Jupiter, Florida. Beloved husband of Cheryl (née Lisko); loving son of the late John and Anna Jean; dear brother in law of Dale Lisko (Cheryl) and Gene Woloshyn (the late Karen Lisko Woloshyn); uncle of Jason Lisko, Joshua Lisko (Amy), Andrew Woloshyn and Alex Woloshyn, great uncle of Nora Lisko. Caring cousin, dog dad of two Labrador Retrievers, friend of many he considered brothers. Rick was born March 21, 1952 in Youngstown, Ohio. He was a 1970 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from The Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration from Youngstown State University. He was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. He had a long career in investment banking and private equity. Rick was an avid golfer and fisherman. He was a member of The Country Club and Abacoa Golf Club. He was also a member of the Chagrin Valley Hunt Club. Rick was a former member of Canterbury Golf Club and the Cleveland Athletic Club. Family suggests memorial  contributions in Rick’s name to the charity of your choice. A celebration of Rick’s life will be held in the Spring.
