Richard J. Smotek

RICHARD J. SMOTEK, age 67, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025. Loving husband of Kathy; cherished father of Katie Smotek (James); brother of Ron Smotek (Kathryn); uncle and friend of many. He is the son of John and Ethel Smotek. Richard taught guitar and owned a musical instrument store for most of his adult life. In addition to that, he was an avid Cleveland sports fan, always watching the Browns or the Indians, loved to garden, plant vegetables, and to sit outside in nice weather. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Heart Association, https://www.heart.org/, in Richard’s name. ALL ARE INVITED TO GATHER FOR A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL AT OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE, 9080 SHEPARD RD, MACEDONIA, ON THURSDAY, JULY 24, 2025, AT 10:00 AM. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
