RICHARD F. LOREN 79 , passed away peacefully, Monday, March 24, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. He is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Sandra (nee Fugo), and their daughters: Tracy Barth (Mike), Pamela Bosso (Steve), Jennifer Hoover (Shane), and Megan Briggs (Whitney). He was a proud grandfather to Tyler (Josette), Grayson, Carter, Addison, Jessica, Amelia, Ryder, Marley and Gabe.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Anise Loren. He is also survived by his siblings, Larry Loren (Heidi), Pat Boyd (Eddie, deceased), Mary Jo Gurry (Jon), Nancy Loren and Tom Loren (Joan) and four nieces and three nephews.
Richard served with great pride in the National Guard for 44 years before his retirement, a reflection of his lifelong commitment to service and community. Beyond his military service, he continued his dedication to helping others as a founding and active member of Twinsburg’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). He served in a leadership role as the team’s vice commander and was a valued member of the oversight committee. His knowledge, experience, and steady leadership were deeply respected by his fellow team members.
Above all, Richard cherished his role as a husband, father, grandfather, and brother, always putting family first. He will be remembered for his steady hand, selfless spirit, and the unconditional love he gave to all who knew him. His legacy of devotion, integrity, and service will live on through his family and the many lives he touched.)
