Ped W. Phillips

PED W. PHILLIPS, age 78, passed away at home on March 10, 2021. Beloved husband of Charlotte (nee Boller); loving father of Keith, Grant (Sarah), and Brad (Julie); dear grandfather of Wesley, Lucas, and Tristan; Brother of Naomi, James and Harold.

Ped was a great man.  A rare man.  And those that knew him knew this.  He was intelligent, funny, generous, and kind.  He had a passion for serving, whether it was a delicious meal made from scratch, or his time spent serving proudly in the U.S. Army.  He loved to laugh and he would tell the best stories and the worst jokes.  He'd always have a new video of the grandkids to share, and the man could nap like no other.  Ped had touched so many lives, even more than we had realized, as cards came in from across the US sharing stories of his warmth, love, and generosity.  

All are asked to gather at Cuyahoga Valley Community Church, 5505 E Wallings Rd., Broadview Hts., on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 11 a.m. to celebrate memorial services.  Memorial contributions are suggested in his name to First Glance, 943 Kenmore Blvd., Akron, Ohio 44314 or online at www.firstglance.org/donate-now.
