Patricia L. Rezabek

PATRICIA L. REZABEK, (nee Whitney), age 91, passed away on September 2, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Clarence; loving mother of Nora, Thomas (Debora), William, and Charles (Cathy); dear grandmother of Eric, Bridget, Cara, John, Madison, and Kaitlyn; great grandmother of Raden; daughter of the late Charles and Nora Whitney; sister of Carol Stern and all the following deceased Leona Gibbons, Sheila Volarcik, and Norman Whitney. Patricia was Registered Nurse who served her community in a variety of ways. She was the St. Barnabas school nurse in the 1960’s. Following her time at St. Barnabas, she served as an industrial nurse for over 25 years at Chrysler, Ford and retired from Nestle, having served there from the time it was Stouffer’s Foods.  In 1978, Patricia joined the Macedonia Fire Department as one of the first female members of the department and served as a firefighter and EMT for 12 years, retiring in 1990.  In addition to her work, Patricia volunteered with the bloodmobile for 19 years from 1964-1983. Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 WEST AURORA RD. (OH RT 82), SAGAMORE HILLS FOR VISITATION ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2023 FROM 4-7 P.M. Funeral Friday, September 8, 2023 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Private family interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
