Nancy Eileen Ford (nee Hess) age 88, beloved wife of William Steward for 66 years, passed away Feb 13, 2026. She now rests in the eternal presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born on Oct 8, 1937, in Donora, PA to James and Sara Hess. Nancy was a stay-at-home mom until her children went to school. She worked for over 20 years as the secretary at Baptist Christian School/Orange Christian Academy until she retired to watch her grandkids. Nancy enjoyed reading, visiting with family, and keeping up with every grandchild through all of their many activities. She stayed very sharp mentally until the very end and could remember things we had long forgotten. Nancy will always be remembered for her love for Jesus, serving others, and her quiet, calm but powerful prayers for our family. She was clearly the silent, strong force that drove her entire family to seek Jesus. In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by her four daughters, twenty grandchildren, two great grandchildren: Linda Price (Mark), Donna Aiken (Mike), Lisa Johnson (Mark), and Debby Levak (Randy); cherished grandma of Micah, Noah, Elijah, Abby, and Isaiah Price; Emily, William, Amy, Ben, and Grace Aiken; Sarah Klein (Micah), Drew Johnson, Anna Gross (Ryan), Matt Johnson (Lexi), Rachel Porch (John), and Joey Johnson; Robby (Janna), Billy, Ricky, and Charley Levak; dear great-grandma of Lucy and Lincoln and two more on the way. Nancy also leaves behind her brother Barry Hess (Marilynn), treasured sister-in-law Ellen Ford, and many nieces and nephews. We all miss her presence dearly, but we know beyond the shadow of a doubt she is in heaven. She demonstrated how to glorify God with her service. Well, done, Mom!
