Mildred Catherine Mayher

MILDRED CATHERINE MAYHER (nee Zelenak), age 92, of Richfield and formerly of Smithfield, PA, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Beloved wife of the late John E.; loving mother of Judith Mayher Astolfi (Thomas), and Kathleen Mayher; cherished grandmother of Michael Astolfi (Michelle), and Allison Astolfi-Jan (Jason); great-grandmother of Theo Jan; dear daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (nee Hrusovsky) Zelenak; dearest sister of all of the following deceased siblings Joseph Zelenak (Lucy), Stephen Zelenak (Kay), Lawrence Zelenak (Bonnie), and Cecelia Zelenak.  Mildred was born in Smithfield, Pennsylvania and for the last 20 years made her home in Richfield with her daughter Kathleen.  All are asked to gather on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. for Mildred’s Funeral Mass at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church 8700 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, Ohio 44141. Burial will take place on Saturday, January 11, 2025 in Saint Mary, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, McClellandtown, PA.
