MICHELE RENEE MILLER (nee Pinkowski), age 71, of Hudson, Ohio, entered eternal life on November 13, 2025, peacefully at home, surrounded by love and strengthened by her unwavering faith.
Michele lived her life with kindness, love, immense strength, and a deep devotion to her family. She is survived by her husband, Philip, of 48 years; her children, Erica (Nicholas) Yacobozzi and Ryan (Punita) Miller; and her grandchildren, Elina and Aiden Miller, who brought her endless joy. Born to the late Edward and Antoinette Pinkowski, Michele is also survived by her brothers, John Pinkowski, M.D. (Amy Weidman, M.D.) and Stanley (Patricia) Pinkowski, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
A graduate of Lumen Cordium High School and Kent State University, Michele worked as the Head Registered Dietitian at Richmond Heights General Hospital. She went on to become a beloved preschool teacher at St. Mary Preschool in Hudson, where she touched countless lives with her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit.
A lifelong Catholic, Michele began and ended each day with her simple prayer of gratitude, thanking God for the day. Her faith guided her through every chapter of her life, especially during her courageous nine-year battle with ovarian cancer. She faced her illness with remarkable humility, grace, and optimism, inspiring everyone who witnessed her fight.
Michele embraced life with a joyful, adventurous spirit. She traveled to 52 countries across 6 continents and enjoyed 25 cruises, always encouraging others to “take the trip” while they can. She also found joy in daily neighborhood walks, cheering on the Cleveland Indians, and baking her famous chocolate chip cookies.
Michele’s legacy lives on in the hearts she touched, the warmth and generosity she shared, and the love she gave to her family and friends. She will be remembered always for her kind heart, her immeasurable courage and strength, and the joy she brought to all who knew her.
Her life will be celebrated through a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church (340 North Main Street, Hudson). Due to the Advent season, flowers cannot be accepted, and the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Michele’s name to St. Mary Preschool or Stewart’s Caring Place stewartscaringplace.org.
