Michael Shane Krofcheck, Sr.

MICHAEL SHANE KROFCHECK, Sr., age 59, of Northfield Center Twp. passed away suddenly Monday, May 12, 2025. Mike was born November 1, 1965, in Cleveland, to his parents Jerome “Jerry” and the late Mary Louise (nee Tajc), raised in Macedonia, OH. Beloved husband of Pamela J. (nee Kozlow); loving father of Michael Shane, Jr. and David Anthony; dear brother of Tracy A.; nephew of David (UNC), and Johnny Tajc (Lynn Teets); great nephew of Mayme; cousin of Andy Tajc (Renee), Sara (Perry Perugini), and Saedie Tajc. Son in Law of Stephen G Kozlow Jr, (late Julie Ann Krueger Kozlow, brother-in-law of Patty Kozlow Bastel (the late Carl Bastel) (fiancé Dan Schaar), Steve & Ray Kozlow. Mike will be missed by many other extended family and friends. Since 1986, Mike and Pam have been an inseparable team, through thick and thin. “Imperfectly perfect” they built a beautiful life and family together. Mike established his own successful businesses-Mike’s Custom Auto Body & Mike’s Quality Install LLC, (MQI). He enjoyed time in the mountains with his family riding ATVs and enjoying whatever it was he wanted to do. He thrived in his projects, his favorite thing, and would not give up any, beautiful ❤️ Mike taught his sons well and was an amazing dad to his boys. The boys have fulfilling careers in the HVAC industry following in their father’s footsteps. Mike helped anyone and everyone; too many good deeds-hard to remember them all; super charming, popular, handsome, friendly, and an all-around fun man. He had countless extra-ordinary marvelous friends, close buddies, and family who have so many wonderful, crazy, loving, frightful, sad, scary, thrilling and happy memories, so much love. Mike had a passion for collecting classic cars and memorabilia. He enjoyed passing along his knowledge of restoration and repair to others. Without a doubt, Mike’s favorite things in life were spending time in the mountains riding ATVs, and building. Next favorite- tinkering in his garage, restoring cars, house projects, spending time with Pam and sons, and the countless friends he made over the years. Mike would be the first to lend a helping hand to those in need, and he tried his very best not to let anyone have a bad time, he loved being the life of the party.
