MAUREEN E. VLACH (nee Watt), age 60, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 20th. Beloved wife of Christopher; loving aunt of Carrie, Krista, and Trey; dear sister of Linda Suter (Carl), Jeff Watt (Rosemary), and Tim Watt; treasured sister-in-law of Kara Vlach-Lasher (Jim), and Heather Sedlak (Don); cherished daughter of the late John and Ramona.
Maureen's Graveside Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 18th at 11am at Northfield Macedonia Cemetery, which is located at the intersection of Olde Eight Road and Valley View Road in Northfield. OUT OF RESPECT FOR ONE ANOTHER, MASKS WILL BE WORN AND SOCIAL DISTANCING OBSERVED. Immediately following the Graveside Memorial Service, we will be gathering at the Blue Canyon Kitchen and Tavern 8960 Wilcox Drive Twinsburg, OH 44087 for a LUNCHEON to celebrate Maureen's life. Because the capacity is limited at the restaurant due to COVID restrictions, (see below how the restaurant is accommodating for COVID) we will need to have a head count in advance. If you have not already reserved your spot at the Luncheon on Facebook and you will be attending THE LUNCHEON, please reserve your spot(s) by emailing kara@jbl.cc.
Blue Canyon COVID Policy - due to the current COVID situation, Blue Canyon is following all State requirements and has adjusted their floor plan to separate their tables at least 6 feet apart. Staff will be wearing masks and gloves the entire time. Nothing will be out on the tables prior to service. There will not be a buffet. We will have a special menu that each person can order from and it will be served at your table by servers. The silverware will be in roll ups to insure no one else touched them. The salt and pepper will be on request and sanitized after every use.
Blue Canyon will require all guests to wear a mask/facial covering. Guests will NOT have to wear a mask/facial covering while sitting at their table, but anytime while walking around the restaurant.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hattie Larlham Foundation at https://www.hattielarlham.org/v/donate-online.asp
