Maryann Kolosky

MARYANN KOLOSKY (nee Rice), age 89, of Garfield Heights, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025.  MaryAnn was the beloved wife and best friend of Eugene for 64 wonderful years. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and family. She was a devoted and loving mother to Kathy McCartney and Kenneth (Susan), and the proud, cherished “Grammy” to Morgan McCartney, Melanie Thurber (Phil), Michael McCartney, and Amber Albright (Steve). Her joy only grew as she became “Great Grammy” to Brayden, Hadleigh, Oliver, Otto, Cullen, Caylie, and Lillian—each of whom brought her endless smiles and stories to share.  MaryAnn was the daughter of the late James and Helen Rice (nee Sands), and sister to the late Jean Quarrick and James Rice. She was also a treasured aunt, great-aunt, and friend to many. Her warmth, kindness, and sense of humor touched everyone who knew her. She loved family gatherings, sharing stories over tea, and making everyone feel at home. Her legacy is one of love, generosity, and the countless memories she created with those she held dear.  Friends may call at ST. THERESE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5276 E. 105th ST., GARFIELD HEIGHTS FOR VISITATION ON THURSDAY FROM 10:00 A.M – 12:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate MaryAnn's life will follow at 12:00 P.M. Interment Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
