MARY THERESA BULKOWSKI “Teri” With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Teri, who departed this life on April 29, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on July 17, 1958, in Cleveland, Ohio Teri is remembered for her welcoming smile, nurturing heart and infectious laugh. She was a kind and generous spirit that uplifted everyone around her and she lived her life with compassion, faith, warmth, and love.An avid reader, Teri always had a book close by and a recommendation ready for anyone who asked. She was a passionate football fan, cheering on the Buckeyes and as a season ticket holder for Cleveland Browns. Above all, Teri showed her love through baking — making something sweet for those she cared about most. We will miss her legendary chocolate chip cookies.Teri graduated from Heidelberg College with a degree in Education and taught middle school math. Her career then took her to Northfield Park followed by Permatex, from where she retired last year. She found joy in teaching others, especially as a PSR (Parish School of Religion) teacher at St. Barnabas Church, where she helped guide young minds in faith and kindness.Teri, the first child of Donald and Claudia (both deceased), is survived by her siblings: Patti Bulkowski, Lauri Schneider (Scott Holt), Wanda Bulkowski-Larsen (Steve), Jess Bulkowski (Diane), and Sara Flowers (Dave). She was a devoted aunt to 7 nieces and nephews and 4 great nieces and nephews. Teri always made herself available to come to an event or spend the night as needed. She leaves behind many cherished memories and her absence will be deeply felt by all of us who had the honor to both know and love her. Teri’s love, laughter, and unwavering care for others will forever remain in our hearts. She was a special gift to this world and her legacy lives on through all of us. In honor of her giving nature, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to youth football via (https://clevelandtouchdownclub.org/index.php?id=37) or youth literacy via (https://literacycooperative.org/donate/#donateform). All are asked to gather at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 9451 Brandywine Road, Northfield, Ohio, on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 11 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Terri’s life. Inurnment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
