MARY LOU FOLTON (nee Bagos), age 89. Beloved wife of the late Ernest A.; loving mother of Teri Lindeman (Phil) and Patti Ivans (Bill Kempf); dear grandmother of Amy Sondej, David Sondej (Sarah), and Victoria Sondej; sister of Gene Chis (the late Al) and all the following deceased Sue Wargo (John) and Ann Sekela (Mike). She is also survived by her beloved long-haired dachshund, Nikko, who is heartbroken by her absence. Mary Lou was a kind soul and generous with her time and resources whenever a family member or friend was in need. She had a great devotion to the Rosary. Sunday dinners were a time for family to gather and enjoy each other’s company and Grandma’s home cooked meals. She loved her home and enjoyed working with the flowers in her park-like backyard. Mary Lou had quite the “green thumb” with plants; maintaining many plants indoors and out. She could often be found relaxing on her back porch bird watching and enjoying the “company” of chipmunks, squirrels, deer, and the occasional toad sitting in the water bowl by the back door. She was a skilled seamstress, an avid reader and member of a local book club, and enjoyed collecting antiques, often going to antique shows and auctions. Mary Lou was a long-time member of the Walton Hills Women’s Club where she held the position of treasurer for several years. Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 WEST AURORA RD.
