Mary Ann Caponi

MARY ANN CAPONI (nee DiNardo), passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the age of 92. Loving wife of the late Phillip O; cherished mother of Phillip R Capone (deceased), Karen Caponi, Darren (Betty) Caponi, and Brian (Diane) Caponi; adored grandmother of Shawn and Scott Vazinski, Lea Schade, Dennis Caponi, Eric Caponi, Jared Caponi and Nolan Caponi, and Jesse Capone; great grandmother of 13; great-great grandmother of one, plus one on the way.  Preceded in death by her parents Charles and Rosalia DiNardo. She is the sister-in-law of Delores DiNardo and the following deceased siblings: Caroline Federico (Ross), Saverio, Anthony, Joseph (Delores), and Rosalia Cantina DiNardo.  Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 W. AURORA RD. (RTE. 82), SAGAMORE HILLS, FOR VISITATION ON THURSDAY, JUNE 12, 2025, FROM 4-8 PM.  Funeral Friday, June 13, 2025, 9:00 am at the Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 am, at St. Michael Church, 6912 Chestnut Rd, Independence. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, 10000 Miles Ave, Cleveland. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE LUNCHEON will follow at 12:30 pm at the Embassy Suites, 5800 Rockside Woods Blvd N, Independence.   

Mary Ann was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother.  Her love and spirit touched so many lives. Her smile shined so bright that it was like a ray of sunshine every time she smiled. She found so much joy in singing and lived for the chance of performing. This was her passion, this was her gift. Every time she sang there was love in her voice, love in her heart. Her voice was that of an Angel. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared her love.
