Linda Jean Bendrick

LINDA JEAN BENDRICK, affectionately known as Mom, Gram/Linda Honey, and Gigi, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2026, at the age of 79, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on March 31, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio, Linda was 3 months premature and the smallest baby the city had ever seen, weighing only a pound and a half, doctors were unsure if she would even make it through the night. She was truly a fighter from day one! She honorably beat stage 4 breast cancer with determination and grace.

A little sassy with a contagious laugh, Linda’s greatest joy was her family, whom she loved deeply and unconditionally.

Devoted mother of Laura Posey and Lisa Garra; cherished Grandma (Linda Honey, Gram) of Ashley Tufts (Tyler), Steven Garra (Deanna), Nicole Garra (Dave), Tiffany Goreposey (Derek), and Megan Garra; adored Gigi of Payton, Liliana, and Harper Tufts, Derek and Teagan Goreposey, and Bennett Garra. Additionally, she is survived by her sister Carol Tarka (Joe); nieces, Dana Leeds (Fred) and Shari Cerkan (Dan), along with their children, Gavin and Brayden Leeds, Regan and Ryan Cerkan.

Linda’s legacy of strength, joy, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
