Judith "Judy" Gonas

Judith “Judy” Gonas, age 78 of Bath Township, passed away on January 2, 2026 in her sleep and is now free from pain and suffering. Judy was born on December 27, 1947, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Theodore and Stephanie (Popiel) Klupinski. Loving mother of Brian, and caring sister of Theodore Klupinski(late Pauline), and MaryAnn Hauser (George). She is preceded in death by her husband John. Judy retired as an auditor from the US Defense Contract Audit Agency. Her love of animals was well known, as she cared for and saved many animals over the years. Judy and MaryAnn loved going to the casino together. She enjoyed watching and cheering on Cleveland sports teams. Judy liked to travel, especially on her trips with Brian to Italy and England. She faced Multiple Myeloma with quiet courage and strength, supported by the love of her family. She will be remembered for her warmth, resilience, strength, and the deep love she had for those closest to her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, in hopes of helping others facing this terrible disease. Friends may call at the FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME 356 W.
