Joseph Michael Kavalecz

JOSEPH MICHAEL KAVALECZ, age 80 of Broadview Heights, passed away on July 21, 2025.  Joseph was born on April 5, 1945, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Michael and Anna (Militsky) Kavalecz.  Beloved husband of Anna Marie (nee Armenio) for 54 years, loving father to Michael and Rose Kavalecz, adoring Papa to Alexander Jonovich (Bri), Quinten Kavalecz, and Oliva Jonovich, and big brother to John Kavalecz.  Joseph attended Benedictine High School and proudly served the US Army in Vietnam where he received a Combat Infantry Badge, Purple Heart and Army Commendation Medal (ARCOM).  He retired as a Union Carpenter. In Joseph’s younger years, he enjoyed shooting trap and skeet. He loved spending time with his family.  Friends may call at the FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME 356 W. AURORA RD. (ST. RT. 82) SAGAMORE HILLS FOR VISITATION FRIDAY, JULY 25, 2025, FROM 2-4 PM AND 6-8 PM. Funeral Saturday 9:15 AM at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Joseph’s life 10:00AM at St. Basil Catholic Church, 8700 Brecksville Rd, Brecksville, OH 44141. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
