Joseph "Joe" A. Fogel

JOSEPH “JOE” A. FOGEL, age 89, of Sagamore Hills and formerly of Solon, entered peacefully into eternal life on Saturday, November 23, 2024. Beloved husband for 66 years to Margaret “Peg” (nee O’Neill); loving father to Thomas, Robert (Megan), Janice Noll (Robert), Ronald (Malissa), and Pamela Alexander (James); grandfather to nine; great-grandfather to eight; dear uncle to many. Joe was the only child of the late Joseph A. and the late Rose E. (nee Horvath) Fogel. He lived his entire life in Northeast Ohio, loved his country, his family, and all of the Cleveland sports teams.  Joe’s gregarious personality can be summed up simply by, “he never met a stranger". Joe briefly served his country in the United States Army. He worked many years at Terex Corporation, Westinghouse and retired from Northrop Grumman.  He was a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church. Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME 356 W. AURORA RD. (OHIO RTE. 82) SAGAMORE HILLS FOR VISITATION SUNDAY, DECEMBER 1, 2024 FROM 2-6 P.M. All are invited to gather at St. Barnabas Catholic Church 9451 Brandywine Road, Northfield, Ohio 44067, on Monday, December 2, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. for a Funeral Mass to celebrate Joe’s life. After the Mass, the immediate family will have a private interment at All Saints Cemetery and then meet extended family and friends for a luncheon at Ferfolia Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joe’s name to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or American Heart Association.
