JOHN YELENOSKY age 85. Beloved son of William and Anna (nee Bohnovic), both deceased; treasured brother of Eleanor Lach (Felix, deceased), Anna Mae Thompson (Russell, deceased), Dorothy Jean Nirmaier (George, deceased), James (Lucy), Donald (Patricia, deceased), Mary Ann Robare (T. Leonard), both deceased, Margaret Carmichael, deceased, William, deceased, Richard (Carol), both deceased, Bernard, deceased and Caroline Smetak, deceased; dear uncle of 34; caring great-uncle of 59; adored great-great-uncle of 20 and great-great-great-uncle of 1. John was a US Army Veteran and stationed in the Pacific during the Korean War. He was a graduate of Benedictine High School and retired from a career at the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department. He also volunteered at Metro Health as a Eucharistic Minister for over 30 years. Friends and family may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 W. AURORA RD. (OH RTE 82), SAGAMORE HILLS FOR VISITATION FRIDAY 6-8 P.M. OR AT ST. BASIL THE GREAT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 8700 BRECKSVILLE RD, BRECKSVILLE FOR VISITATION ON SATURDAY FROM 9-10 A.M. OUT OF RESPECT FOR ONE ANOTHER MASKS WILL BE WORN AND SOCIAL DISTANCING OBSERVED. John’s Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 10 a.m on Saturday at St. Basil the Great. Interment All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested in his name to the St. Basil the Great Liturgical Tribute Fund at the above address.
