John Andrew Urban, III

John Andrew Urban, III, age 65, of Northfield Center, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Jacqueline Louise (nee LaRocco) for 43 cherished years; loving father of Jessica Jevtic (Boban) and Jennifer Wood (Joshua); and adored grandfather of Olivia Wood and Ava Wood. John was the dear son of John Jr. and Sandra Urban (nee Gustovich); dearest brother of Mark (Beth) and Nicole; and a cherished uncle, cousin, and friend to many.  A dedicated professional, John worked for over 43 years in the diecasting trade, most recently as a diecast supervisor at Empire Diecast Co. He was set to retire this month, a milestone he eagerly anticipated. John’s true joy, however, came from his family—his children and grandchildren were his world. He adored his dog Bella and his grand dogs. John loved watching movies and NASCAR, collecting matchbox cars and model airplanes, and enjoying good music with a Bumbleberry beer by the pool. Sharing a great bottle of wine with Jacqueline was among his favorite pastimes, a testament to their deep bond.  Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 WEST AURORA RD. (OH RT 82), SAGAMORE HILLS, FOR VISITATION MONDAY, APRIL 14, 2025 FROM 4-8 PM AND TUESDAY, APRIL 15, 2025 FROM 10 AM UNITL THE HOUR OF SERVICE. Funeral service Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in John’s name to the American Cancer Society.
