JOHN PACANOVSKY, age 73, passed away on April 5, 2026. Beloved husband of Debbie (nee Rich); loving father of Lisa Minnillo (John) and Lori Kurinsky (Mike); grandfather of Conrad Fisher; brother of Jane Sisler and Allan Pacanovsky (Kathy); brother-in-law of Carol Rich and the following deceased, Nick Rich, Frances Palmer and Dale Palmer.
John was a devoted husband to his wife, Debbie, with whom he shared 52 loving years of marriage. He dedicated 46 years of hard work to the Seaway/Giant Eagle warehouse and was a proud member of Teamsters Local 507, reflecting his strong work ethic and loyalty throughout his career. For more than 30 years, John was an active member of the Buckeye Searchers of Northeast Ohio, where he enjoyed the camaraderie and thrill of discovery. He embraced life with curiosity and adventure—traveling the country by RV, flying remote‑control airplanes, and hunting for the best bargains at flea markets. One of his simple joys was indulging in ice cream sundaes, always topped with extra whipped cream.
Known affectionately as the family’s “MacGyver,” John could fix nearly anything with his hands, usually while enjoying a cup of coffee. His resourcefulness, kindness, and steady presence left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him, and he will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
