Joanne exuded civic pride in all things Cleveland, from the Orchestra to the Public Library, where she worked as a young woman, to the surrounding Metroparks. She rarely missed a broadcast of her beloved Cleveland Guardians over an 80 year span. Joanne was outgoing and social and could make a friend in a matter of minutes anywhere in the world; and once a friend, always a friend. She cherished her monthly lunches with her South High classmates in the ’56 Club and loved to attend plays with her sister Diane and friend Patti. She was a wonderful accordion player with a lovely voice and enjoyed Italian music. Joanne treasured the home she made with her husband, Matteo, in Brecksville, Ohio, where they raised three daughters. She was a gentle spirit with deep, unshakable faith and a tender heart.
