JEFFREY ALLEN DRAPP age 77, of Northfield Center, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on June 18, 2025.
Born on May 29, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio, Jeff was a proud graduate of Bedford High School, where he still holds the record for touchdowns scored. His athletic talent earned him a football scholarship to Boise State University before he returned home to complete his education at the University of Akron.
Jeff built a career as a skilled computer technician, working for TRW and later Hewlett-Packard. He was known for his sharp mind, problem-solving skills, and work ethic. Outside of work, Jeff had a passion that surprised many; he was an avid LEGO enthusiast, earning the affectionate title of “Lego Master” among those who knew him well.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doris and John Drapp. Jeff is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Dianne (nee Petrilli); his sons Gavin (Tami), Bryan (Melissa), and Darren (Nikki); and his beloved grandchildren Avery, Kelcey, Brody, Beckham, Bryson, Betty, and Josephine. He also leaves behind his dearest sister, Laureen.
Jeff had a rough exterior but a truly great heart. He was a loyal husband, a proud father, and a doting grandfather. As a coach to his sons, he passed on not just the fundamentals of sports, but also the values of perseverance, dedication, and integrity. Above all, he loved his family deeply and took immense pride in the people they became.
