Jeffery "Jeff" Dean Findley was born on May 27, 1957, in East Cleveland, Ohio, and passed away unexpectedly at his home in Walton Hills, Ohio, on February 16, 2025.
Jeff was the son of the late Donald James Findley and Angeline Marie Findley (Cielo) and brother to the late Jerry L. Findley. Jeff grew up in the Maple Heights area and dedicated his career to working as an electrician before recently retiring.
On August 8, 1998, Jeff married his beloved wife, Pamela. Together, they built a life filled with love and family. He is survived by his children Jill and Daniel (Sarah), as well as his stepchildren Jamie (Eric) and Matthew (Stacey). His legacy continues through his four cherished grandchildren: Noah, Braven, Madelyn, and Olivia and his beloved puppy, Lizzy.
A lifelong automobile enthusiast, Jeff had a passion for classic cars and motorcycles. He was always on the lookout for his next "project" car —sometimes seeking permission first— but finding immense joy in restoring and perfecting each vehicle he worked on. His mechanical skills extended beyond automobiles; he was knowledgeable in various trades and always willing to lend a helping hand or offer guidance to family, friends, neighbors, or anyone who would listen.
Since retiring, he also continued working on various projects around the home including his recently installed pool where he enjoyed hours of "floating" with his wife Pamela along with friends and family. His love for craftsmanship and problem-solving left a lasting impression on those around him.
At this time, rather than any immediate services, there will be a Celebration of Life to remember Jeff in the Spring where all can gather to share stories and fond memories. The date and time of the celebration will be communicated to friends and family when details are finalized.
Jeff’s memory will live on through the many lives he touched with his generosity and passion. May those who knew him find comfort in the memories they shared with him.
