Henry C. Stavec

Henry C. Stavec, age 100, passed away on October 15, 2025. Henry was born on December 9, 1924, in Maple Heights, Ohio to the late Frank and Josephine Stavec. Loving husband to the late Rose, caring father to Yvonne Blatchley (Fred), James Stavec (Carol), Thomas Stavec, and the late Christine Stavec. Henry proudly served in the US Army from 1943 to 1946. He was able to travel to many different countries during his service and considered that some of the best times of his life. Henry trained in Chicago to build and fix clocks and watches; he liked the detailed and intricate workings. Henry enjoyed food and could still eat like a teenager even after turning 100 years old. He was a deeply religious man and had a wonderful relationship with God, praying often, like he was speaking to a friend. Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 WEST AURORA ROAD (OH RT 82), SAGAMORE HILLS where Funeral Services will be held to celebrate Henry’s life Tuesday at 1:00PM. VISITATION TUESDAY, 10:00 A.M. until time of Services. Interment All Saints Cemetery where military services will be held.
