Our magnificent boy Heath Orion Phillibert was born on October 5, 1995 and passed away unexpectedly on November 14, 2024.
From the very beginning Heath was a beautiful soul with a curiosity and connection to the world around him that couldn’t be quieted. Heath poked and prodded and dug deep to try to make sense of his world leaving no stone unturned. He was fascinated with how things worked, how things were related, and how people interacted with one another. Heath applied his analytical mind to everything and open heart to everyone.
Heath could read a room and his loving energy and careful attention drew people in. His beautiful laugh carried a perfect combination of insight and humility; his was the most accessible laugh in the world.Heath was one of the best people to travel with. With every new experience, his joy of discovery was palpable, his energy unstoppable, and his desire to dive in contagious.
The facts of Heath’s life seem less important than his crazy, vibrant, adventuresome, loving personality but bear mentioning. Heath was usually top of his class when he actually did the homework. He loved movement and action and competition and wrestled his way to States in his junior and senior years at Nordonia High School. He graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in electrical engineering. After graduation he worked for a small engineering firm before moving to Eurotech. Heath then answered his entrepreneurial spirit and founded Digital Sky Production to create drone shows for music festivals. He loved attending EDM festivals and also loved that he could make money while soaking in what brought him joy.
Heath dreamed big and had been fostering plans to become a self-made man since high school. With every setback or disappointment Heath told himself that he just had to think harder, and he could make his dreams come true, all the while battling with a precarious balance between the beauty and the pain that defined his spirit. Heath felt it all. Our beautiful Heath is survived by his sister Emily Kaiser, mother Joslin Phillibert (Gary Klann), siblings Stephanie, Jonathan and Elizabeth Phillibert, grandmother Maria Kaiser, aunts Lisa Kaiser, Andrea Carmosino (Rob), uncles Adam Kaiser (Patty), Ben Kaiser, cousins Jade Caudill (Alex), Maya Carmosino, Luke Carmosino, Nina Kaiser, his girlfriend Anjelica and a mountain of other loving friends.
We will all be reminded of Heath in so many ways. He infused life with his curiosity, humor and love and now we wish him the most gentle peace.
