Grace Marie Cartellone

Grace Marie Cartellone, nee Diasio, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and dear friend of many, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, at the age of 98 surrounded by loved ones. Born October 19, 1927, in Cleveland, Ohio, Grace lived a wonderful and fulfilling life defined by generosity, compassion, and strength. She touched countless lives with her unwavering care for others. Those who knew Grace will remember her strong and kind spirit, her thoughtful words, and the way she always put others before herself. Grace dedicated much of her life to her family and friends, where her commitment and kindness left a lasting impact. She found joy in cooking, baking, sewing, dancing, and playing bridge. She was a faithful member of Church of the Resurrection, St. Wenceslas Church, Maple Heights Catholic Club, and Solon Italian Club. She is survived by children Trisha Stevens (Terry), Debbie Patten (Don), Joe Cartellone (Jennifer), and Michael Cartellone (Nancy Meyer); grandchildren Amanda Bergen (Chris), Daniel Patten (Lori), Nathan Stevens (Christin), Liz Schaller (Artie), Phil Patten (Amanda), and Becca Cartellone; 14 great-grandchildren; and cherished ‘Aunt Grace’ to many nieces and nephews who will forever hold her memory close in their hearts. Grace was preceded in death by husband Joe Cartellone, sisters Juliette Laboda and Eleanor Rummell, and brothers Robbie Diasio, Mick Diasio, and Leonard Diasio.
