It is with heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived that we announce the passing of a beloved father, pepaw, and best friend. Known for his warm smile, generous spirit, and zest for life, he leaves behind a legacy woven with love, laughter, and treasured memories. Frank N. Musarra, 71, of Broadview Heights, passed December 6, 2025. Loving father of Nicole L., Andrea K. Shimell (Corey), and Nick F. (Danielle); Cherished pepaw of Jordan, Carmela, Connor, and soon to be Baby Shimell; Friend and former spouse of Kitty Baxter; Dearest son of the late Frank A. and Concetta (nee Manarinno); Dear brother of Laura Miller (Peter) and Donna Kmett (the late Bob); Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews; and adored grandpa of grand pups Skyla and Zoey.
Family was the heartbeat of his world. Whether gathered around the dinner table, spending time with his grandchildren, or simply sharing stories on the porch, he cherished every moment spent with those he loved most. His devotion as a father and pepaw was felt in every hug, every encouraging word, and every shared experience that brought the family closer together.
A true lover of good food, he approached every meal as an opportunity to savor life’s simple pleasures. From hearty home-cooked favorites to trying something new on family outings, he believed that food was a way of bringing people together—and he was always happiest when everyone was gathered, talking, laughing, and eating.
He was also an adventurer at heart. Family vacations were his favorite tradition—whether exploring new places or relaxing by the ocean. These trips created some of the family’s most cherished memories, captured in photos and stories that will be retold for generations.
And then, of course, there was the music. A lifelong fan of rock and roll, he carried its spirit with him everywhere he went. From classic riffs humming through the house that became family staples, his love of music was infectious. It was a soundtrack to his life—bold, heartfelt, and full of energy.
He will be remembered not only for the things he enjoyed, but for the way he made others feel welcomed, supported, and deeply loved. His presence was a gift, and his absence will be felt profoundly. Yet the lessons he taught, the joy he shared, and the memories he created will continue to guide and comfort those who were fortunate enough to know him.
He leaves behind a family who loved him endlessly and will honor him by living with the same kindness, curiosity, and wholehearted love that he showed every day.
May he rest in peace, knowing his legacy lives on in the hearts of all who adored him.
