Twinsburg lost a beloved matriarch and dedicated community member with the passing of Frances M. Turle on April 1, 2025. A resident of Twinsburg since 1957, Frances devoted her life to her family, her faith, and the betterment of her community.
For 65 years, she was the loving wife of the late Jack Turle Sr., and together they built a family rooted in love and dedication. Her love extended to her grandchildren, Nicole Koyan (Matt), Jack Turle III, Jennifer Coliadis (Jay), Ashley Turle, Ally Turle, Mercy Turle, Kaela Turle, Emily Turle, Samantha Waldron, C.J. Waldron, and Savannah Waldron, as well as to her great-grandchildren, Kristina Koyan, Sara Koyan, Jack Myron Turle, Brandon Coliadis, Caroline Coliadis, Hunter Turle, Bryce Turle, and Colton Turle, she was the loving daughter of the late Vincenzo and Nicolena Lombardo (nee DiNardo) , adored sister of all of the following deceased, Rosemarie DeLuca (Joe), Angelina Mancisio (John), and Nate Lombardo (Sarah) and dear sister-in-law of all of the following deceased, Viola Frei (George, Sr.) Marie Stettner (Donald) and Jim Turle (Edith).
Frances dedicated 48 years of her life as both an employee and volunteer with Twinsburg City Schools, leaving an indelible mark on generations of students. Her passion for supporting youth and fostering community spirit led her to become a founding member of the Twinsburg Athletic Boosters, the Saints Cosmas and Damian Women's Group, and the Twinsburg Athletic Boosters Hall of Fame Committee. She also played a vital role in organizing the Twinsburg Athletic Booster Wrestling Tournament, the Twinsburg City Schools Senior Scholarship Event, and scholarship programs through the Saint Cosmas Women's Group and the Athletic Boosters.
Her unwavering dedication was recognized when she was named an honorary member of the Twinsburg Athletic Boosters Hall of Fame—an honor that speaks to the profound impact she had on local athletics and education.
Frances Turle’s kindness, generosity, and commitment to service will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on through the lives she touched.
