Elizabeth A. "Betty" Papay

ELIZABETH A. “BETTY” PAPAY (nee DOBROWSKI), age 89, of Macedonia, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2025.  Beloved wife of the late Sanford J. McCloud Sr., the late Thomas Kendzierski, and the late Ronald Papay; loving mother of Sanford J. “Sandy” McCloud Jr. (Cathleen); step mother of Evonne Papay, Sheri Hohenstein (David), and Rochelle Rinehart (Tim); cherished grandmother of Joshua McCloud (Jennifer), Jason McCloud, Kimberly Slobodian (Victor), Amanda Lessey (Scott), David Byrne, Alex Byrne, Emily Rinehart, and Madison Rinehart; great grandmother of Cameron, Alex, Naomi, and Siena; dearest daughter of the late Walter S. Dobrowski and the late Ann C. Dobrowski (nee Nemec); dear sister of Mary Ann Ciolek (Ted), the late Walter Dobrowski Jr., and the late Robert Dobrowski (the late Jennie); caring aunt, great aunt, great great aunt and friend of many. Betty enjoyed watching football and loved doing crafts, especially ceramics. Where there was a casino near, Betty could be found trying her luck with the slot machines; to her she was always a winner. She was a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church. Funeral Service 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2025 at Funeral Home. Funeral Mass to celebrate Betty’s life 11:00 a.m. Friday St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 9451 Brandywine Road, Northfield, Ohio 44067. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Northfield.
