Edward F. Thomas

Edward F. Thomas, born November 13, 1931 passed away at the age of 88 on November 7, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Camilla (nee Abel) and long-time, cherished companion of the late Audrei A. Dengate; Loving father of Laura Golnick (Philip) and Susan Haluska; Dear grandfather to Ethan and Elizabeth Golnick; Trusted son of Edward S. and Elizabeth R. (nee Ovacek); Fond brother of the late Louise Fuller. He will be remembered by many and missed by his faithful cats – Sophie and Jess. Edward was a proud United States Army Veteran of the Korean War; One of the Chosen Few. He was employed with the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company for 40 years, retiring to a life of fishing in Canada with the “June Crew”, having a beer with friends and spending time in his yard and garden. Due to the ongoing pandemic, a celebration of Edward’s life will be held at a later date.
