Diane Marie McGiboney

Diane Marie McGiboney, age 82, passed away on January 22, 2026. Diane was born on July 9, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Robert and Dorothy (nee Polodna) Macek. Diane was the loving wife of the late Leonard McGiboney. Devoted mother of Susan Wolf (Larry), adoring grandmother of Robert and Brandon (Gabby), caring great grandmother of Beckett and Tessa, and cherished sister of Robert Macek (Denise) and Donald Macek (Linda). Diane retired from Marymount Hospital where she worked as an X-Ray Technician for many night shifts. She enjoyed traveling, especially her trips to Italy, Ireland, and cruises. Diane was very crafty. She enjoyed creating ceramics, crocheting, knitting, and macramé. Diane was active for many years at St. Monica Catholic Church. She was a member of the ladies’ guild and participated in many of the churches’ fashion shows. Her greatest passion was her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed. AURORA ROAD (OH RT 82), SAGAMORE HILLS FOR VISITATION ON THURSDAY FROM 6-8 PM. Funeral Friday 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Diane’s life 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Macedonia. Interment at Hillcrest Cemetery.
