Daryl Greene

DARYL GREENE, age 60, passed away on June 15, 2022. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Tromski); loving father of Abbey Greene and Lauren Fotta; dear son of Violetta and the late Edward; beloved brother of Al Greene (Gabrielle) and Ellie Nidzgorski (Jim); uncle and great uncle of many. Growing up, Daryl played basketball and football at Maple Heights High School.  He spent 35 years as a Facility Manager, the majority of which was at the TRW headquarters, followed by Developers Diversified Realty (now SITE Centers) and MRI Software.  Most recently, Daryl was semi-retired working at the Broadview Heights Recreation Center where he was a favorite of co-workers and members.  Daryl was a true homebody and was happiest spending time with his family.  Rarely did anyone meet Daryl who wouldn’t describe him as “a great guy.”  He had a terrific sense of humor and a light-hearted personality.  Daryl was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes football fan.  He was a wonderful husband, father, son and brother, a favorite uncle, and will truly be missed by so many.  His was a life cut too short, but it was a life well-lived and filled with love and laughter.
