CATHERINE E. "KAY" KALAL (nee Mandelik) age 88 of Solon. Beloved wife of Gerald L.; loving mother of Mary Advent (Brian), Jeff (Rosa Aguilar) and Larry (Adri); cherished grandmother of Nicholas Advent (deceased), Lucas and, Ellie Advent, Gunner and Devlin Tekaucic and Waylon Kalal; daughter of the late Roberta (nee Gaston) and James A. Mandelik; dear sister of James R. Mandelik (deceased) (Ann) and Marianne Thompson (Bill) (both deceased); aunt of James A. Mandelik, M.D. Catherine was one of the founding parishioners and ministered as a cantor and choir member for 28 years at Church of the Resurrection.
