Andrew E. "Andy" Rundo, Sr.

ANDREW E. “ANDY” RUNDO, SR., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away peacefully on February 17, 2025 at the age 86.  Born on November 12, 1938, in Cleveland, Ohio, Andy lived a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

A devoted family man, Andy cherished his role as a husband to his loving wife, Freda and was a wonderful father and grandfather. His warmth, kindness, and sense of humor will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing him. He had a passion for golfing and enjoyed spending time on the golf course with family and friends.

Andy was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Margaret.  He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Freda (nee Mastandrea).  Andy is the loving father of Andrew Rundo (MaryAnn), Ken Rundo (Karen), and Debbie Humpal (Rich); cherished grandfather of Shawn Humpal, Michael Rundo, Kenny Rundo (Lindsay), Alissa Hardy (Phillip), and Ashley Cabay (Kevin); dear great grandfather of Malia Hardy, Juliana Hardy, Angelina Hardy, and Bryson Rundo; brother of Rudy Rundo (Lynn), Betty Jane Austin (Damon (deceased)), John Rundo (deceased) (Gayle) Chuck Rundo (Cinny) (both deceased), and Caroline Martin (deceased); brother-in-law of Nick Mastandrea (deceased) (Carmella).

Friends may call at THE CHURCH OF THE ASSUMPTION, 9183 BROADVIEW ROAD, BROADVIEW HEIGHTS, OHIO ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2025 FROM 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. FOR VISITATION.  Andy’s Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 11:00 A.M. Interment All Saints Cemetery.

Andy’s love for his family and the joy he brought to those around him will be dearly missed, but forever treasured!
