ALICE MONIAK (nee Federwicz), age 97, of Sagamore Hills, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Beloved wife of the late Joseph; dear mother of Debby Black (Andrew), Susie Wisner (Joe Wasko), Mary Beth Voll (Keith), Dan (Sue), and the late Cynthia; cherished grandmother of Alison Pales (Sean), Andrew Black (Aubrey), Adam Voll (Karissa), D.J. (Taylor), and Madeline; adored GeGe of Liam, Rhys, Ava, Sutter, Danny, and Amelia; dearest daughter of the late Peter and Pelagia Federnicz (nee Ratajczak); dear sister of Fran Mlady (the late George), and Betty Ellsworth (the late Richard); aunt and dear friend of many. Alice was a lifelong and founding member of St. Basil the Great Catholic Church. She was a member of the Mission Circle, Altar and Rosary Society, and Food Pantry. Alice will be remembered for her generous spirit, kindest heart, and the joy she found in spending time with her family. We will forever miss our beloved mother, grandmother and GeGe. All are asked to gather for a Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Alice’s wonderful life on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 8700 Brecksville Road, Brecksville. Entombment will follow in Four Evangelist Mausoleum at All Saints Cemetery, Northfield.
