THOMAS STEPHEN MAGYAR; 83, Born on August 29, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio. Tom passed away peacefully on September 26, 2026, surrounded by his family. Loving father of Karen Vargo (Joe), and Lesley Gatten (Jason); Cherished grandfather of Jaret, Brian, and Bryce; Beloved son of the late Julia (nee Liptok) and Stephen Magyar; Dear brother of the late Patricia Uthe (Jim); Former husband of Peggy. Tom retired as a Detective with the Maple Heights Police Department in 2001, after 32 years of service to the City of Maple Heights. He loved to spend time watching his grandson’s sporting events and working in his yard.
