THOMAS W. EGGERT: "aka" TOMMY TELEPHONE; 81, passed away April 21, 2024. Beloved husband of 57 years to Laverne (Nee Deka); Loving father of Jeffrey (June Seratta), Jill Puffenbarger (Ken), Debbie Palinkas (Joe), David (Kathie), and Douglas (Holly); Cherished grandfather of Rachel Puffenbarger, Lauren Palinkas, Katelyn Puffenbarger, Joey Palinkas, and Avrey Palinkas; Dear son of the late Jeanette and Wilbur; Dearest brother of Marcia Wagner (late Bill); Dear uncle of Teri Copeland (Vinnie) and Tom Wagner. Thomas was a U.S. Air Force Veteran who retired from the phone company after 38 years, he was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer; but above all, loved his Cleveland Indians (Guardians). Tom was a super dad with an all-around personality who just loved cracking jokes. Family and friends are asked to gather Friday at St. Barnabas Catholic Church 9451 Brandywine Rd. Northfield, OH for a Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Thomas' life at 11:00AM.
