RUTH RESTIFO (nee Taynor) died peacefully at age 88 on August 30, 2025.

Born in Chillicothe, Ohio to Ralph and Beulah Taynor, Ruth was a member of the Glee Club and 4H Club in school. She later moved to Cleveland and worked as an administrative professional who enjoyed music and dancing with friends, where she met and married Sam in 1960. As a wife, mother, and homemaker, she participated in and supported many activities with her family including cub scouts, baseball, and camping. She was also an accomplished bowler in local leagues. Ruth excelled most at family gatherings, creating wonderful meals and memories for those she loved.

Beloved wife of Salvatore "Sam" (deceased); loving mother of John, Frank (Laurie), Salvatore, Jr. (Gina), Ross (Debra), and Rich (Mitra); devoted grandmother of Nicole (Paul), Anthony (Madelyn), Cierra, Nickolas, Kristen (Brandon), Alanna and Adam; great grandmother of Ava, Luca, Gianni, Jordan, and Romeo;  sister of Barbara Pencil (deceased) (Chester) and Robert Taynor (deceased).

Funeral Friday, September 5, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m at St. Columbkille Catholic Church 6740 Broadview Rd., Parma 44134. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
